The NEW YORK LINDY EXCHANGE (NYLX) will take place in New York City from Friday, September 20th to Sunday, September 22nd.

NYLX does it big once again with internationally known dance instructors, award winning jazz and blues bands, while paying homage to our lindy hop past.  We will light up your New York City dance experience with amazing dance workshops, and live bands each night.

This year we will be honoring Harlem's own professional organizer, swing dancer, galvanizer, NY Times’ Bill Cunningham muse, real-estate broker, literary society leader and vintage-clothing collector Ms. Lana Turner.

We now offer BOTH an Experienced and a Novice track for workshops, taught by our incredible instructors. 

Kickoff is Friday afternoon on the 20th of September with lindy hop classes and a new crash course in Lindy Hop for Novice dancers, then an evening of dance at one of New York’s premier venue, Sony Hall. Saturday and Sunday we have a full series of daytime classes, and social dances in the evening. Every night features some of the best swing bands in the land. Saturday evenings dance will take place in Harlem at the historic Alhambra Ballroom. On Sunday evening we will wrap-up your NYC Lindy experience at the beautiful You Should Be Dancing Dance…! Dance Center.
